0.30.0.0 - Early Access Patch + Module 1

September 19, 2026

  • Adjusted stealth detection:
  • Added a front cone proximity detection range bonus for players detecting stealthed players/npcs.
  • Mesmerization buff overwriting is now determined by spell duration rather than caster level. A longer lasting Mesmerize will always overwrite a lower duration one.
  • Hide is now based on Stealth rather than invisibility. As such, it will work against Undead, but will have an increasingly larger detection distance from the front of NPCs that con red.
  • Most group buffs are now available to purchase from spell vendors directly, rather than as research-granted spells.
  • We do plan to add additional spells and abilities from research in the future.

Charmed NPC damage has been reduced from its previous level. While charmed NPCs are weaker, they are still a valuable source of extra damage in a group situation and when soloing if you choose to use it. Certainly with weaker charmed pets, soloing will not be as efficient and fast as it was previously, but it is still a viable tactic to increase your damage.

This affects the Charm spells of Enchanters, Elementalists, Druids, Bards, and Necromancers. For classes that have a pet already, the charmed pet damage is an upgrade of at least 25% more than your summoned pet. For classes without a summonable pet, the damage is lower as it's purely a bonus and does not require you to give up your summoned pet in order to use it. Inquisitors are not affected by this change, as their Charm ability has both a very long cooldown and a short duration which felt like enough of a limitation to balance the power of their ability.

This is a topic we've received lots of feedback on during Beta, and not everyone will agree with this change. In the past, charmed pet damage often exceeded the amount of damage you could get by adding 2-3 more DPS classes to a group, and was unquestionably the highest damage spell in the game by a wide margin. This change will be good for game balance, and allow us to tune difficulty to be more reasonable for diverse groups.

  • Fixed a bug where Bard's Aria line was not correctly stacking its secondary Attack Slow with primary slows.
  • Fixed a bug where Throwing abilities were not receiving appropriate ranged bonus damage.

  • Updates have been made to the character creation screen. Adding the available location to the deity selection and a button to confirm your deity.
  • The create button is now persistent, greyed out until all requirements are met.

  • You can now view deities before choosing a class, the deity pop out will persist while you are choosing classes if you choose to do this. They will update live while you are selecting a class and default back to agnostic if you choose a class/race combination that does not include that deity.
  • If you choose your class before faith/deity, you will see the normal pop out with the description and stats applied for that class/race combination.
  • A new keybind is available for turning the pages of your ability book, defaulting to left and right arrow keys. The keys set for this will block any other bound action while the book is open. If you want to still use the arrow keys to turn in the world, it will still work outside of the ability book view.
  • Key binds will now display as red text if you have duplicates assigned. Some key binds, such as turn page and chat page up / down will show as red, because they have multiple functions that do not interfere with each other.

  • Fixed Reclaim Magic not working on players in PvP
  • Fixed a bug where Inquisitor's Reflecting Bash did 0 damage in PvP.
  • Fixed a bug with certain debuffs (roots/stuns/incaps) sometimes causing immunity in PvP when it shouldn't be, outside of diminishing returns.
  • Fixed a bug where Disengagement wasn't considered a harmful effect, and would allow a player to interrupt casts on Invulnerable targets.
  • Fixed a bug where PvP players in the tracking window would sometimes show up both without color, and with their normal name instead of the "{Race} Player" anonymous name.
  • Adjusted, added, or removed various DR values for several abilities in PvP.
  • Adjusted DR window/immunity from 18 seconds -> 21 seconds
  • A lot of abilities that were removed from DR had their durations set low (0.25s - 3s), depending on if it was a hard cast with/without a cooldown, a reactive effect, a proc, or a channel.
  • Shorter duration soft CC (such as snares), or ones from pets/procs, had their PvP durations lowered, and are now off the Diminishing Returns list. Long duration snares/hard cc still remain affected by DR.
  • Shadows snare/dot line now has its own Diminishing Returns group, instead of no DR.
  • Also tried to polish up combat chat notifications for better awareness.
  • Increased Lulling Sight debuff from 15-30% ability range reduction to 20-40%.
  • Hide and Sniper's Blind, like Stealth, can now only be used 10 seconds after an aggressive action in PvP.
  • PvP Taunts swapping targets now properly prevent re-targeting for a short duration.
  • Adjusted PvP nameplate colors:
  • Anyone below the minimum level threshold for PvP (Level 4) will show as a blue nameplate to indicate they are out of range, unless they become FFA flagged.
  • And anyone above the minimum threshold, while you remain below it, will show as the typical higher level 'orangered'.
  • Added 'cyan/teal-ish' color for guild members not in party.
  • Removed pink /roleplay color.
  • Adjusted consider color thresholds:
  • Added blue/yellow consider colors to indicate +/- 1-3 level delta difference.
  • Added ruleset option enforcing Soulbind for self and others within PvP Suppression zones only. Current known places with PvP Suppression are city banks, inns, and personal houses.
  • As such, added more a few PvP Suppression volumes at certain points of interest around the world where it made sense.
  • The goal of this adjustment is to curb 'bind rushing', getting death looped, and 'bind location' fighting in general.
  • This also has some secondary benefits of giving houses in certain zones more value as they provide alternate or 'better' bind locations.
  • Note: If you are bound inside your home and you transfer/relinquish it (or it expires), you will automatically re-bind at your starting zone's safe position.
